The biweekly calendar marks every 14th day from an anchor date through the rest of the year. That is a pure 14-day walker: inspection cycles, therapy appointments, every-other-Friday rituals, or a paycheck that truly lands every fourteen days. It is not the four-frequency pay-period year grid, and it is not semi-monthly 1st and 15th.
Fourteen days, not twice a month
Twice a month on fixed days is semi-monthly. Every fourteen days drifts across month numbers: the 3rd, then the 17th, then the 31st, then the 14th of the next month. The walker makes that drift visible. People who say “I get paid the 1st and 15th” should not use this page.
The pay period calendar can also show biweekly dots, but it additionally offers weekly, semi-monthly, and monthly. This URL stays specialized so searchers who only want the 14-day chain do not land on a frequency dropdown they might mis-set to 1st/15th.
How to pick the anchor
Choose a date that is already on the cycle: last confirmed payday, last inspection, or the first occurrence you want in the year. The tool then adds 14 days repeatedly until the year ends. Dates before the anchor in the same year are omitted unless the form also walks backward—treat the anchor as the start of the chain.
If the cycle continues from last year, do not guess a January date. Enter the true last occurrence even if it was in December, then read this year’s marks. A wrong anchor by one day throws every later date off by one, which is worse than being a full cycle off in some workflows because it looks almost right.
Worked examples
A facilities team inspects fire extinguishers every 14 days. They enter the last inspection date in 2026 and print the remaining marks. Holiday closures that skip a visit are handled by moving the next mark by hand; the walker does not skip federal holidays.
An employee paid every other Friday enters a known Friday paycheck. They compare the year map with 2026 holidays to see Fridays that are observed holidays, then check the employer’s early-deposit rule.
Three marks in one month
Because 28 days is shorter than most months, a 14-day cycle often places two dates in a month and sometimes three. Those three-date months are the same geometry that produces three biweekly paychecks. They are not a bonus cycle; they are 14-day arithmetic meeting a 31-day month.
February in a common year is 28 days, so a cycle that lands on February 1 and 15 may also land on March 1, depending on the anchor. Leap February 29 can itself be a mark if it is 14 days from a prior mark.
ICS and other exports

Shift calendars that rotate 4-on/3-off are not 14-day equal spacing. Use the shift calendar for on/off patterns. This walker never turns days off; it only marks every 14th calendar day.
Year-end and next year
The last mark in December may be fewer than 14 days before January 1. The next occurrence is January of the next year, which this year’s grid will not show. Generate the next year with an anchor equal to the last mark plus 14 days.
Crossing a leap day in the interval still counts civil days, not business days. Weekend marks stay on Saturday or Sunday if that is where the 14-day landing is.
Limits
No business-day skip, no tax, no overtime week definition. No “every other weekday” that skips weekends—that would be a different cadence. Here every civil date counts toward the 14.

Inspection and clinical cadences
Fourteen-day clinical follow-ups and safety inspections are not pay frequencies. They still use this walker. When a visit is skipped, the next mark is not automatically fourteen days from the skipped date unless policy says the clock keeps ticking on the original chain. Some clinics reset from the actual visit; that reset is a new anchor, not a hidden feature of this page.
Document in the procedure whether skipped federal holidays delay the chain. The walker will not delay it. A Friday inspection that lands on an observed holiday needs a human decision: Thursday, next Friday, or skip until the next fourteenth day anyway.
Leap day on the chain
If a mark is February 15 in a common year, fourteen days later is March 1. In a leap year, fourteen days after February 15 is February 29. Anchors near mid-February therefore produce different March marks depending on leap status. Regenerate leap years instead of copying a common-year chain.

Twice a month on fixed dates is semi-monthly and yields 24 dates a year. A 14-day cycle yields 26 marks most years and can place three marks in one month. The day-of-month drifts. People paid on the 1st and 15th should use semi-monthly mode on the pay-period calendar instead.
When do three dates appear in one month?
When a 31-day month contains two 14-day steps plus a third landing, or when alignment stacks three marks inside 31 days. That is ordinary 14-day arithmetic, not a special bonus cycle. February’s 28 or 29 days change whether a third mark fits in that month.
How should a 14-day cycle anchor date be chosen?
Use a date already on the true cycle, such as the last confirmed occurrence. A one-day error shifts every later mark by one day and can look deceptively close to correct. If the cycle started last year, enter that last date rather than guessing a January start. Mid-February anchors also change next marks in leap years.
Is this biweekly walker a 14-day ICS download?
No. The page is a visual year of marks. The generic ICS generator’s weekly mode repeats every seven days, not fourteen. Copy dates or use a calendar editor with a two-week interval if you need a file. This walker does not emit .ics and does not skip weekends automatically.
